MS Research

In my undergrad at Purdue, I was an NSF REU intern involved in research investigating high carotenoid maize, where my project looked at high carotenoid popcorn and its commercial characteristics. I am excited to continue carotenoid research in sorghum in the Rhodes lab, working on the genetics of carotenoid bioavailability.

Career Goal

To continue education and research in biofortification of staple crops with the intention of improving food security and access to nutrition.
